ruled from this palace for 491 years until Puyi, the last emperor of the
Qing dynasty and of China. It is now the largest and best preserved ancient
architecture in China.
The great wall
The Great Wall, (Wanli Changcheng) literally means the Ten Thousand Mile
Wall, is a great defense in ancient China. The section at Badaling is
the most famous of all because it's near Beijing City and condition of
restoration. It fully shows the lofty quality of ancient Chinese labor
people.
The Hukou Waterfalls
The Hukou Water falls of the Yellow River is the only Yellow Waterfall
on earth. The river narrows and cascades amazingly into a stone pond more
than 30 metres below, creating the famous Hukou Waterfalls.
The silk road
The region separating China from Europe and Western Asia is not the most
hospitable in the world. Much of it is taken up by the Taklimakan desert,
one of the most hostile environments on our planet.
Language
The official language is Mandarin Chinese. Among local dialects in this
country, large groups speak Cantonese, Shanghainese, Fuzhou, Hokkien-Taiwanese,
Xiang, Gan and Hakka dialects in the south. Mongolia, Tibet and Xinjiang,
which are autonomous regions, have their own languages. Translation and
interpreter services are good. English is spoken by many guides and in
hotels. Many taxi drivers do not speak English, even in big cities.

China is officially Atheistic, but the stated religions and philosophies
